Procurement Specialist (Procure-to-Pay Lead Analyst)

Work Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours)
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm EST (7am-4pm CST) or Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm EST (7am-4pm CST)
Job Summary:
This Procurement Specialist’s primary responsibility is to be a point of contact between Verity, NPV, and Internal Government, Account Managers, Finance, Specialty Procurement, and Pharmacy Operations as well as manage replenishment purchase orders needed for assigned pharmacies.
Essential Job Functions:
This position develops competence by performing structured work assignments interpreting existing procedures to solve standard and complex problems with limited instruction guidance and or direction from others.
Proficiency in this role requires exercising independent judgment and critical thinking within the company guidelines while maintaining a professional attitude and presenting to internal and external customers.
Supplier chain purchasing
Buying experience
Frontline purchasing worker.
i.e.: coding purchase orders and completing procurement tasks.
Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have 8+ years of experience.
Must have the ability to think strategically.
Must have a clear background check, driving record, and drug screen.
Department Specific: Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
