Pay: $17.73
Work Location: 9453 Airport Boulevard
Schedule: Various Shifts Available - Including Weekends/Evenings/Late Night (Must be flexible)
Job Summary:
Under immediate supervision, collects parking fees from customers, and monitors parking facilities. May exercise functional supervision.
Essential Job Functions:
Collect parking fees from customers.
Receives and verifies correct change fund.
Operates an electronic cash register or time clock to compute fees manually.
Completes daily reports for assigned zones.
Verifies and counts money and number of parking tickets collected; turns in daily receipts to fiscal office.
Monitors assigned parking lot and informs management of any unusual situations or incidents.
Operates two-way communication radio.
Responds to customer complaints and accidents, speaking with and listening to determine the best way to address customer concerns.
Provides customers with directions and information as needed.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a Valid Class ‘C’ Texas Driver’s License.
Cashier or cash handling experience is highly desirable.
Must have Customer Service skills.
One (1) year of experience in driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
Must have a clear background check, driving record, and drug screen.
Department Specific: Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
