Human Resource Specialist

$16 / hour and Full-time

Assignment Length: (3) months with possibility of extension

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree from accredited college or university with preferable coursework in HR or related field

  • Three (3) years experience in data processing or human resources processes

Job Duties:

  • Under general supervision is responsible for providing transactional support to departments as directed by HR. Provides information to management and employees regarding HR policies and procedures

  • Initiates and coordinates recruitment activities such as planning requisitions, coordinating pre-employment processing with HR Department and finalizing hiring actions

  • Processes new hires to include benefits enrollment, establishes payroll, etc.

  • Processes all changes in status to include promotions, demotions, transfers, suspensions and unpaid leaves

  • Plans and adjusts salary adjustments and other changes to base pay

  • Serves as liaison between Central Human Resources and assigned departments

  • All other duties assigned by HR Department
